CloudScope are looking for a Front-End Developer to join a company pushing the boundaries of gaming technology by allowing their developers to get creative with the latest technologies. Providing Virtual Sports solutions to the market they combine high-end graphics with elegant simulations. The company offers flexible benefits, allowing employees to create a package suited to them and their needs.

You will be responsible for migrating and developing new features of Virtual Sports products, using React and NodeJS. Working with other teams within the business, you will be involved in projects to carry out large-scale enhancements to existing systems. This is a highly technical role that involves creating technical specifications, designing and developing new software components for a range of projects.

The Role

Working as part of a team on a range of internal and external projects

Maintaining and enhancing existing product code

Carrying out large-scale enhancements to existing systems

Migrating and developing new features of front end components

The Candidate

• Minimum 3 year's experience in JavaScript or related frameworks OR demonstrable experience in front-end web development
• In-depth knowledge of SDLC and Basic UML
• Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, PHP, React, Redux, or NodeJS
• Previous experience of ExpressJS, React Native, Flux, AngularJS, PHP, AJAX, Laravel, Lamp, CSS3 (SASS/LESS), Bootstrap

Salary: £31k DOE + benefits - 12 month maternity cover

Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Location: Ipswich, Suffolk

Commute: Norwich, Harwich, Cambridge, Colchester, Stowmarket, Felixstowe, Sudbury
